ELskan FLY is a country-folk and Americana artist whose music is shaped by wide-open landscapes, hard truths and lived experience. Born in Manitoba’s Interlake region, surrounded by what she calls the “prairie seas,” and now based in New Zealand, her songwriting blends acoustic warmth with an unfiltered honesty and quiet resilience.
After relocating to New Zealand, ELskan spent years immersed in rural life, working on farms and developing an even deeper connection to the land. These experiences, together with her Canadian roots, continue to influence songs centred on love, breaking points, strength and the courage to change direction.
An award-winning songwriter, ELskan has earned recognition for songs including “Hard Grass Life,” “Keep On Drinkin’” and instrumental track “The River.” In 2025, “Lion Den” and “Gloria” were selected as semi-finalists in the International Songwriting Competition.
Her new single, “Lion Den,” released August 5, 2026, is the title track from her forthcoming album. Written and performed by ELskan FLY, the track was produced and arranged by Liam Kennedy-Clark, with Josh Schuberth on drums and Shannon Guitreau-Barton on banjo. Mixed by Thomas O’Connor and mastered by Chris Chetland, “Lion Den” showcases ELskan FLY at her most honest, grounded and fearless.

Mountain Rio is the sonic bridge between the heart of British songwriting and the soul of Nashville’s elite music scene. Guided by the pen of veteran UK songwriter Frank Robinson, the project has spent nearly two decades weaving a rich tapestry of country, festive cheer, and independent spirit.
Since their self-titled debut in 2008, Mountain Rio has cultivated a dedicated global following. Their sound was forged in the legendary studios of Nashville, brought to life by premier producer Stacy Hogan and the commanding vocals of Mike Lusk. This long-standing collaboration has produced a string of hits that have dominated independent and community radio stations worldwide.
The Mountain Rio journey is marked by an eclectic and prolific discography. From the infectious energy of Rockabilly Christmas—which graced the airwaves of over 40 top country stations—to the sun-drenched vibes of Sun Tanned Bikini Girls and the otherworldly intrigue of Twenty Seven Miles From Roswell, the music refuses to be pinned down. In 2025, the project expanded its horizons with the Christmas Hoedown album, introducing new textures through producer Daniel M and a fresh collective of session musicians, while continuing the beloved Hogan-Lusk legacy.
The accolades speak for themselves: consistent #1 rankings on the Air Play Direct charts and a persistent presence on world independent charts. Whether it’s the high-energy pulse of Zydeco and Cajun dancing or the nostalgic elegance of a Christmas ballroom, Mountain Rio continues to evolve.
Looking ahead, the horizon is bright with upcoming releases: the atmospheric and progressive rock In Search Of The Mystic (August 2026), the festive Let’s Dance Like Ginger And Fred At Christmas (September 2026), and the vibrant Happy Mariachi Christmas (October 2028).
Mountain Rio isn't just a band; it's a transatlantic celebration of rhythm, melody, and the enduring power of a well-told story.
In Search Of The Mysticis a 9-track concept album mapping a cinematic journey through time and space. Written entirely by veteran UK songwriter Frank Robinson, the record weaves a cosmic narrative heavily inspired by the avant-garde genius of Pink Floyd’s Syd Barrett. Barrett serves as a guiding spirit throughout the record, explicitly referenced as part of the cosmic search. The music seamlessly bridges classic Floydian atmosphere with sharp, modern melodic pop hooks.
Mountain Rio have been releasing music since 2008.Mountain Rio are not a touring or performing outfit but are the vehicle UK veteran Songwriter Frank Robinson uses to release his country/country rock and progressive rock songs.
Greg Bray is a Queensland singer-songwriter, writer and self-described recovering tradie whose music is shaped by a lifetime of stories, humour and experience. Raised in Gladstone after moving from Innisfail at the age of ten, Greg spent years working as a fitter and turner before building a varied career across factories, hospitals, journalism, cemetery management and community support.
For more than a decade, he entertained readers with a humorous column in the Gladstone Observer, and he continues to write and share observations through his blog. Music, however, has always remained close to his heart. After years of singing and playing guitar for family, friends and anyone gathered around a fire, encouragement from his wife Donella led Greg into the recording studio with a collection of original songs.
His latest single, “One Horse Town,” is a warm and reflective song about reaching a stage in life where family, friendship and community matter more than hurry and ambition. With its longing for simpler times, a slower pace and a place to belong, the song will resonate with listeners dreaming of a quieter chapter.
Greg continues to write, perform, record and entertain, proudly sharing life, laughter and music with audiences of every generation.
