Hoot and Hollers
In March 2025, HOOT and Hollers released their fourth studio album containing 10 original songs. Three of the songs are new. The other seven are songs that appeared on earlier albums of Hoot's bands — The New Baldones (2012-2015), and Tent How Troubadours (2016-2023), These seven songs have been reimagined in new arrangements and often shifting the genre. Bob Hoot is a singer/songwriter living in the Ann Arbor, MI area. Hoot moved from Madison WI in January 2024. HOOT and Hollers consists of Bob Hoot (solo) and occasionally with one or two guest players who join in live performance. The vibe is primarily Americana/Alternative Country semi-acoustic arrangements. HOOT and Hollers recording projects are driven by Hoot's songwriting. Session musicians include musicians and vocalists from Tent Show Troubadours, and musicians in Nashville and California.
HOOT and Hollers has released four albums of original songs: Matters of the Heart and Other Trouble (2020), and 100% Smooth & Blended (2023), Bob Hoot & Friends (2024), and Bob Hoot of HOOT and Hollers - on His Own but Not Alone. In 2021, Tent Show Troubadours/HOOT and Hollers released an album of covers aptly titled Cover Letters.
