CBAA and Gadigal Information Service/Koori Radio (GIS) proudly present First Sounds Volume 13, another volume of exciting new music from First Nations artists across the country. Produced by GIS/Koori Radio and distributed to community radio by CBAA via its amrap.org.au initiative, First Sounds Volume 13 showcases a dynamic range of artistry including folk, pop, R&B, hip hop, electronica, and roots. First Sounds has delivered thousands of radio spins for First Nations artists, often for the first time in their career. Community broadcasters can find the full selection of tracks available for free on amrap.org.au or via the link below. This initiative is funded by the Australian Government through Music Australia and Creative Australia. |

Brisbane Christian station 96Five is now Rise 96.5, with a revamped logo, website and other branding to reflect the change. While the station became fully licensed in 2001 efforts to establish a Brisbane-based Christian broadcaster started in 1975, shortly after the establishment of community broadcasting in Australia. Despite the change in identity Rise 96.5 plans to continue bringing a mix of faith, local voices and music to its listeners. |

The City of Moreton Bay will name community station Bridge FM 99.7FM’s home at Redcliffe after long time volunteer and community champion Don Gailer. Don has served as President of the station and has formulated training programs for station volunteers, and has been involved with Bridge FM for over 19 years.
